Screenings are a finely graded crushed limestone material sized 1/4" and under, designed to create a smooth, stable surface with excellent workability. Because the material compacts tightly, it’s a go-to choice for projects where you need a firm finish, clean grading, and reliable performance. Screenings are also a great option as a leveling and bedding layer when installing pavers, since they spread easily, fine-grade smoothly, and compact into a flat, supportive base. Screenings shape well and lock together when compacted—helping reduce shifting, ruts, and washouts in light-use areas.
